Wrights Truck & Trailer parts supports and provides for the ride
A big thank you to Geoff Wright from Wrights Truck & Trailer for supporting the ride with providing some safety lights for the support vehicle and also an adapter, all of this equipment is needed for safety and Geoff is a friend of one of my brides, Lisa Grund from home - Thank you Geoff and Lisa.
Well today being the kids birthday we tried to keep out of the car as much as we could. We did have to go into Innisfail and visit the bike shop and it looks like the rim will be able to be fixed and quite cheaply at this stage, so it looks like I may have to take all the cursing back.
We also touched bases with the local newspaper - The Advocate to remind them about the ride and see if they were still interested in doing an article on the ride. Got some more food - I don't know who is eatting more, me or the kids!!
I got to do a ride into Innisfail also to check out my bike frame to make sure it was not damaged and also to see how the support crew travelled, I guess a test run overall. Father Rob did the test run with me and average speed was about 30k's for the car. Father Rob did have to slow down a little when I was riding over the bridge - great picture moment and I was taking it all in and giving Father Rob the signals that I should have taken my camera, but not a good spot to stop.
The ride into Innisfail was good, had some head wind coming back so gave the legs a good work out. Ended up doing about 45k round trip and it was great to get onto the bike again.
The pic of me just getting back from my ride.

Cheeky support crew - coming back in too

Griffin & Bella opening some of their pressies - these ones are the ones they gave each other.

Cuddles - more so from Bella for their pressies from one another.
Griffin very happy a Ben 10 Watch (not quite real deal but close enough in his eyes)
Bella very happy with her lip balm set from Griffin.
